How can I become a merchant?

Once you have successfully registered, you will be able to create a merchant account. To do so, enter the flow from the home screen carousel or select "Become a Merchant" from the main menu.

Can I claim a merchant username or account?

Yes, you can create a new account to claim a different merchant username. If you'd like to claim an existing username, please follow the link to our merchant resource page.

How long does it take to accept payments as a merchant?

Once your bank account information has been verified and successfully connected to your HUMBL merchant account, you should start receiving payments.

Why do I need to provide additional information for verification?

Due to the comminality of your name, more information is required to verify your identity. You can expect and email from us with next steps and what documents we will need.

How do I receive payments as a merchant?

In order to receive payments as a merchant, you will need to set up a merchant account and follow steps to verify your business bank account information. Once your business's bank account information is verified, your merchant profile will be enabled to receive payments. To start receiving payments, customers can scan your QR code or search for your merchant account name, click on and view your merchant profile, and select the "pay" option to make a payment.

How do I edit my merchant profile?

Starting in your merchant account, from the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen, click on the "profile" icon, and then click on the profile menu (located in the upper left corner of the screen). From the profile menu, select the option for "edit profile". This option will allow you to update your photo, merchant name, phone number, desired currency, and business address. Once you have made changes to your profile, click the "update" button at the bottom of the screen to save your profile changes.

Where do I view transactions in my profile?

From the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen, click on the "profile" icon, and then click on the profile menu (located in the upper left corner of the screen). From the profile menu, select the option for "transactions". You will be able to view past transactions that include details of the merchant's account name, date of transaction, and amount.

Where do I view sales in my merchant profile?

Starting in your merchant account, from the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen, click on the "profile" icon, and then click on the profile menu (located in the upper left corner of the screen). From the profile menu, select the option for "sales". You will be able to view past sales transactions, shown by first and last name of the purchaser, their username, the date of the transaction, and the amount. As a merchant, you will also see an option to refund a transaction (more details covered in the "How do I refund a transaction?" FAQ article)

How do I send a refund in my merchant profile?

Starting in your merchant account, from the navigation menu at the bottom of the screen, click on the "profile" icon, and then click on the profile menu (located in the upper left corner of the screen). From the profile menu, select the option for "sales". For each sales transaction, you can click on a specific transaction, and you will see a "refund" option. By clicking on the "refund" option for a particular transaction, you will be asked to confirm your action to refund the transaction amount.
